September 17-20, 2017

Escape to the idyllic Utah countryside as Nature sighs into her golden autumn season. Amber of Amber Reverie will be delving into her creative process, teaching how to create her earthy, ethereal designs from inspiration to creation. We will cut our own painterly Dahlias and early autumn blooms from the nearby Local Roots Flower Farm, combined with seasonal flowers, grasses and fruits to create beautiful floral still life moments, designs with natural movement and large scale installations.

Spring City is a hidden gem in the heart of Utah. Surrounded by the most stunning pastoral landscapes, the town is full of beautifully restored pioneer homes and the whole city is protected on the National Register of Historic Places. (There is only one other city in the US with this claim.) Spring City has become home to a flourishing community of artists, and was recently named one of the prettiest places in the United Stated by Forbes. We will be staying in a beautiful farmhouse and, between class time, will be exploring this special town, foraging from native flora, and finding a sense of balance and connection with nature.

-Welcome gift of natural dyed apron, silk ribbons, vessel, clippers, all necessary floral supplies and additional surprises
-A large variety of seasonal flowers and the opportunity to select and cut flowers from the farm for your own designs
